    #31989: AMBROTYPE PORTRAIT IN MOTHER OF PEARL CASE

    Nice sixth-plate ambrotype of a man dressed in his finery. The subject's name may be "Coleman", from a handwritten note behind the image. Presented in a papier-mache case with mother of pearl inlay on the cover; and the word "Memorial" embossed on the spine. The case shows wear at the top and bottom of the spine; and the case cover is separated at the spine. Overall, a nice presentation. $125.00
